School Wellness NurseLocation: Sheshegwaning Health CentreEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleSheshegwaning First Nation is seeking a School Wellness Nurse who is responsible for promoting the health, wellness, and overall well-being of children and youth through prevention-focused nursing services delivered within the school and community. Guided by the principles of Brighter Futures and Building Healthy Communities, the School Wellness Nurse provides health promotion, early intervention, education, screening, and care coordination. This position reports directly to the Director of Health & Wellbeing.What You'll DoProvide nursing assessments and first-line clinical care for students presenting with illness or injury.Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions, including asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, allergies, and other medical needs.Identify emerging physical, emotional, developmental, behavioral, and mental health concerns.Facilitate referrals and service navigation for students and families.Develop,
