SummaryDMC Mining Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager based in Vaughan, ON to oversee project deliverables, manage project activities, and maintain commercial accountability to ensure costs, scheduling, scope, and overall project management meet DMC standards and client expectations. The incumbent will nurture and expand client and subcontractor relationships and identify future opportunities within the region.ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute and manage projects throughout their lifecycle to ensure completion on budget and on schedule.Develop and manage a project management plan that outlines staffing, materials, equipment, subcontracting, and other services.Verify estimates by detailed review of proposal specifications.Coordinate internal and external resource plans.Organize and conduct meetings with project staff, stakeholders and management to communicate project requirements.Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations, progress reports, communications, paperwork, meetings, etc.Take appropriate action to minimize impact of deviations, scope changes or external factors.Manage assigned projects in the region to ensure all goals meet budgets and schedules per client/DMC expectations.Promote a culture of zero harm with comprehensive safety plans, procedures, training and initiatives.Ensure Health & Safety Management systems are in place and meet or exceed client standards.Ensure project deliverables comply with all environmental regulations.Build strong relationships with clients, DMC offices,



corporate functions, subcontractors and community.Identify critical path issues and ensure plans meet key schedules and deliverables.Proactively manage and resolve risks to protect DMC’s reputation and interests.Build a work environment that invests in people, providing opportunities to increase skills.Attract and retain team members who deliver results and support DMC values.Implement talent management plans including workforce and succession planning.Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project.Incorporate scope changes and provide reporting updates on costs, schedule compliance, etc., and recommend across functional areas for project support.QualificationsPost-Secondary Degree in Engineering.Minimum 10 years of senior management experience within the mining industry.PMP Certification is an asset.Proven leadership and relationship management skills.Ability to motivate and work collaboratively across functions, disciplines and offices.Solid oral and written communication and negotiation skills.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Additional InformationSalary range: $134,500 to $189,000 CAD plus short-term incentive bonus.Comprehensive benefits and retirement plan.Role can be performed on-site.Compensation and benefits may vary depending on factors.DMC Mining is an equal opportunity employer.
