Acting as the Finance Leader, this role reports to the General Manager, Distribution, and serves as a business partner. The Finance Leader will develop relevant business metrics, maintain accurate accounting systems, ensure a strong internal control environment, and provide timely financial planning and reporting. Other major responsibilities include managing accounting staff, supporting process improvement, and leading new business initiatives while ensuring compliance with Westlake Accounting Policies and Delegation of Authority.Salary Range$178,000 to $218,000 (inclusive of bonus opportunities)Accounting Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide financial guidance to the General Manager and team to support business growth and performance objectives.Develop sales and profitability reporting tools for branch managers and sales staff.Manage significant quarterly bonus and incentive plans, including target setting, payouts, and plan design.Supervise the daily activities of the Finance Department, emphasizing continuous improvement.Oversee the preparation of monthly financial books and maintain the integrity of the internal accounts.Produce reports for Management on key financial metrics, including monthly business review presentations and supporting branch queries.Maintain constructive working relationships with co‑workers, supervisors,



and managers.Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts, including appropriate variance analysis.Actively participate with corporate accounting on accounting and financial reporting issues, including external financial reporting and external audit support.Oversee Sarbanes‑Oxley compliance and the internal control environment.Manage special projects and analyses as required.Handle any additional responsibilities or tasks as assigned.Qualifications, Education and ExperienceB.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent.Ten or more years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a large multinational company.CPA designation and/or master’s degree required.Demonstrated acumen in balancing custodian and business partner facets of leadership.Preferred product distribution experience in a multi‑location environment.Previous supervisory experience.Knowledge of ERP accounting systems, including JDE and SAP BPC.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SAP BPC, and database experience.Exposure to PowerBI is desirable.Physical DemandsFrequent sitting, standing, walking, hand use, reaching with hands and arms, speaking, and hearing. Occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Regular lifting or moving of up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Work EnvironmentModerate office noise level.
