The Assistant Service Manager reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for the following:Assist the Service Manager with annual service programs duties, including quoting, and promotionCoach new technicians and apprentices with work orders assigned to themSupport new technicians and apprentices with their technical, repair, and diagnostic questionsImprove technician efficiencies by keeping technicians on tasks and coaching when neededDirect and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprenticesContact customers to update with any ongoing repair status and cost estimatesProvide labour estimates for new job quotesInform the Service Manager of in-house technician training needsOrganize shop tools and properly catalogue them for quick locationMaintain shop cleanliness and ensure technicians are keeping their work area tidyPerform quality control checks on units before returning to customersOther duties as assigned, including health and safety responsibilitiesSkills and QualificationsHolds a Journeymen license in 310T, 310S,
