Fraser Health is on the lookout for a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse focused on providing recovery-oriented care. You will work as part of an interprofessional team, employing your mental health expertise in crisis counseling and transitional support. This position requires compassion, strong communication, and the ability to assess and deliver tailored support in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams for patient discharge
• Provide crisis counseling and suicide prevention interventions




• Maintain client records and document assessments accurately
• Offer referrals to community treatment alternatives
• Participate in quality improvement and research activities
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse registration with BCCNM
• Two years of related experience in pediatric mental health
• Valid BC Driver’s License and a personal vehicle
• Solid assessment and crisis intervention skills
• Ability to promote empathy and person-centered care
