Our public sector client requires a Senior Business Analyst with strong Agile experienceto be involved in the development and implementation of applications on both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements for cloud and on-premise application initiatives.
- Develop user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process maps, and product backlogs to support Agile delivery teams.
- Create business roadmaps that align strategic objectives with future-state business processes and technology solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and requirements validation to support solution design and implementation.
- Work closely with Agile and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and solution deployment.
- Analyze current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend future-state business solutions.
- Prepare business analysis documentation, decision records, and presentations while providing ongoing knowledge transfer to project stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

- Demonstrated Senior Business Analyst experience developing user stories, storyboards, business process models, roadmaps, and future-state business processes within Agile and DevOps environments.
- experience supporting the design, development, and implementation of applications on cloud infrastructure, legacy (on-premise) infrastructure, and Government of Canada projects.
- Robust knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, business analysis techniques,



and the ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
- Agile certification
