Some of the key responsibilities for this role are as follows:Operate all material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations/ standardsMHE includes the Order Picker, Reach, Single and Double-walkies and lift truckComplete the pre-shift equipment inspection process and immediately report any issues or concerns to Supervisor or Team LeadEnsure all loads are properly secured to the pallet or within the gaylord before transporting goods throughout the DCPlace cartons onto mesh decks in the racking as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs)Retrieve cartons from the racking and place onto a pallet as per the SOPsPlace pallets into the various drop zones and P&D locations and complete all systemic transactionsRetrieve empty pallets and full cardboard gaylords and transport as per the SOPsPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as neededCommunicate with Supervisor or Team Lead, as well as other Drivers, on the radioOther duties as assigned**Other Job Requirements:**Must consistently adhere to all company policies and procedures as outlined in the VF Policy handbookBe willing and able to work in other departments as needed (Inbound, Processing, Shipping)Perform housekeeping duties as required while contributing to maintaining a safe and clean work environmentConsistently follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
