Job Title:Senior MechanicDuration:6 months to 1 yearSchedule:Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM; overtime as required onholidays and weekendsLocation:Lloydminster, Alberta/Saskatchewan, CanadaThis prospect supports maintenance and operations activity within an oilfield service environment, with a focus on equipment reliability, preventative maintenance, and rapid response to operational demands.The role is centred on advanced diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty equipment including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, and power systems.This position also contributes to maintenance efficiency, asset uptime, and continuous improvement across both shop and field-based operations.Required Education:Journeyman Automotive, Heavy Duty, or equivalent mechanical trade qualificationRequired Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield operations or industrial mechanical maintenanceExperience with oilfield service equipment and machineryBackground in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability of field equipmentExperience supporting shop and field-based maintenance activities, including emergency repairsRequired Skills:Advanced diagnostic, maintenance,



and repair capability across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, fluid handling equipment, generators, and power systemsStrong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsKnowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentationProficiency with maintenance management systems and computerized diagnosticsWelding and fabrication knowledgeStrong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skillsLeadership, coaching, and team support capability within a maintenance environmentStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and under pressureRequired Certifications:Valid Class 5 Driver's LicenseH2S AliveStandard First Aid/CPRWHMISCSTS or equivalent safety certificationPreferred Qualifications:Red Seal certification Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's License (considered an asset)Rates:Rates from $45-$55/hr, determined by previous experience, qualifications, and certifications.
