We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the work — understanding how the business operates, solving problems, building better applications and guiding our developer team do great work.You’ll work closely with our operations teams to understand what they need, turn those needs into practical technology solutions, and help shape where our systems go next.And because we believe in developing our people, this role has room to grow as you learn the business and take on broader technology leadership.What You’ll Do You’ll have a mix of people leadership, development, problem-solving and big-picture planning.A typical week might include:Leading, coaching and supporting a small development teamMaintaining and improving our operational applications and business systemsWorking directly with operations to understand workflows, pain points and opportunitiesTurning business needs into practical technology solutionsStaying hands‑on with development, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysisManaging application enhancements, projects and competing prioritiesDeveloping new programs and improving existing onesSupporting APIs, EDI, databases, integrations, web/mobile applications and user interfacesExploring practical uses for AI while helping establish appropriate AI governanceStrengthening coding, testing, security, documentation and change‑management practicesWorking with vendors and internal teams on technology projectsHelping build our operational technology roadmap and modernization prioritiesMaking sure our critical applications are stable, secure,



recoverable and well supportedWhat You Bring We’re less interested in checking every box and more interested in finding someone with the right combination of technical ability, curiosity and leadership.Ideally, you bring:5–10 years of progressive software or application development experienceExperience leading software projects, applications and technical resourcesExperience coaching or developing technical team membersStrong business analysis and problem‑solving skillsExperience gathering requirements and turning them into workable solutionsKnowledge of application security, recovery planning and business continuityStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsThe ability to communicate with both technical and non‑technical peopleA collaborative, accountable and hands‑on leadership styleA degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Development or a related field — or equivalent experienceYou’ll also need to be comfortable providing occasional after‑hours support when critical systems need attention.
