This position will be expected to read blueprints and schematics, clean and check for defects and the shaping component.Job Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited ToReads and interprets blueprints or welding process specificationsFollows directions given in layouts, drawings and work ordersCleans and checks parts for defectsOperate welding equipment and flame-cutting equipmentOperate hand toolsOperate hoisting and lifting equipment,



prepare jigs or set-ups for weldingTrouble-shoot production problems and take preventative or corrective actionRecommend changes to improve quality and reduce costsOther Requirements AreCertified Welder and/or equivalent experience. Journeyman ticket considered an assetStrong attention to detail and organizationDesire to foster a safety conscious setting and ability to read and adhere to all safety policiesAbility to work with others and contribute to a positive team working environmentAbility to work under pressureAbility to stand for long periods of timeWork Location: In person
