ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN – CPA FIRMA stable position in a human-sized firm, with excellent benefits and a great work-life balance.Our client is a well-established CPA firm located in Laval, led by a partner and recognized for the quality of its client support.The firm is looking for an experienced accounting technician who seeks a professional, supportive, and adaptable environment with long-term career prospects.THE ROLEYou will be responsible for various accounting tasks for a diverse clientele:Enter and process accounting data in the existing systems; Manage accountspayable and receivables; Prepare bank reconciliations and participate in month-end closing processes; Participate in the preparation of financial statements; Participate in compilation engagements, based on your experience and interest, in collaboration with the firm's CPAs; Prepare GST/QST returns and other government remittances; Monitor accounting and tax deadlines; Collaborate with CPAs and other team members to ensure quality client service; Prospect to participate in personal income tax returns during tax season; Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and progressively develop your responsibilities based on your experience and interests.
