Canterra Group has been retained by a growing consulting engineering firmto recruit an experienced

Senior Structural Engineer to join its GTApractice.

This is an opportunity for an established structural engineer who enjoystechnically challenging work but is also thinking about the next stage of theircareer.

Our client has a strong pipeline of projects and is looking for someonewho can take a senior role in project delivery, work directly with clients andcontinue developing toward a leadership position within the firm. For the rightindividual, there is a genuine career path toward Associate .

The Opportunity

You will take a senior role in the delivery of structural engineering projects, working with clients, consultants and internal engineering teams frominvestigation and design through construction.

Depending on your experience, responsibilities will include:

Leading structural engineeringprojects from concept through construction

Structural analysis, design andrehabilitation of existing structures

Managing project scope, schedulesand deliverables

Reviewing drawings, calculationsand technical reports

Coordinating with architects,contractors and other consultants





Providing technical guidance andmentorship to junior engineers

Developing and maintaining clientrelationships

Supporting the continued growthof the structural practice

Requirements What We're Looking For

We are interested in speaking with structural engineers who havedeveloped their careers within the

Ontario consulting engineering market and are ready to take on greater project and client responsibility.

Ideally, you will bring:

Strong structural engineering andproject delivery experience

Experience working within aconsulting engineering environment

Knowledge of applicable Canadianand Ontario codes and standards

Strong communication andclient-facing skills The ability to manage multipleprojects and priorities An interest in mentorship,leadership and continued career progression

Compensation
