Job Title: Shipper and Receiver

This position involves working in the shipping department of a pharmaceutical company that supplies clinics with allergen medicines. You will be part of a small team, responsible for picking, packing, and accurately shipping Health Canada regulated medicines across the border. Strong computer skills and attention to detail are crucial due to the regulatory nature of the industry.

Responsibilities

- Pick and pack regulated medicines for shipment.
- Accurately ship products across the border, adhering to Health Canada regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of two in a small warehouse setting.

Essential Skills

- At least 2 years of experience in order picking.
- 2+ years of experience in shipping and receiving.
- Proficiency in working with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience in a regulated industry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Experience with SAP.
- Reach Truck License.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a small warehouse facility with a total of four people on site, including a team of two dedicated to shipping and receiving. The warehouse is very clean, due to its pharmaceutical nature, and the product handled is fragile.



The shift is from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two paid 15-minute breaks. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
