This includes but is not limited to: adult males, adult females, families, pregnant women, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, minors, persons with medical condition or disability, addictions, people with suspected or diagnosed mental illness, and victims of human trafficking.The Registered Counseling Therapist will provide assessment, treatment,



and coordination of care for clients when medical attention is required or requested by the client.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducting individual assessments.Providing addiction counseling and therapy.Developing individual treatment plans.Evaluating and monitoring individual progress.Maintaining and updating records.Making appropriate referrals to medical professionals.Providing awareness about external resources for continued support.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years as a Registered Counseling Therapist.A master’s degree (Psychology, Social Work, Nursing) and qualified certification from the provincially regulated authority.A certificate in Mental Health and Addictions Counseling.SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:A valid RELIABILITY STATUS security clearance (full reimbursement).A Vulnerable Sector Check (within one year).Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification (within two years).Experience3 yearsEducationDiploma or better#J-18808-Ljbffr
