Shifts: Monday to Friday, approx. 2 nights away and shorter day on Friday. 6am start until jobs done on driving days, when required you’ll help in the yard with loading, on those days it will be 7am - 4:30pm
Working away will also be required
Licence needed: Full UK Category C Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Work type: Class 2 driving combined with hands-on outdoor site work

This is a hands-on role for a Category C Driver who is comfortable doing more than driving. You will drive Class 2 vehicles when required but also have non-driving days where you’ll support the yard team with loading. Must be happy with heavy lifting.
This role would suit someone with previous Class 2 experience and a flexible approach to days and nights away.

Your Duties Will Include
Driving Class 2 HGV vehicles
Supporting with loading in yard
Loading, unloading and preparing equipment
Following site procedures and health and safety requirements
Staying away from home when required
What We Are Looking For
You will need:
A valid UK Category C Class 2 driving licence
Driver CPC qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous Class 2 driving experience
Good physical fitness
A flexible approach to working hours and locations
Confidence working outdoors in different weather conditions
A reliable and safety-focused attitude
The most key things are reliability, flexibility and being comfortable with hands-on site work as well as driving.
Pay and hours
£35,067.87
Nights out paid at £29.26
Temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate
This role involves travel across the South West, so candidates must be comfortable working at different sites and staying away from home occasionally.
