NOW HIRING – EXPERIENCED ITALIAN COOK Location: Caledon East, Ontario We are looking for a highly skilled, reliable, and experienced Italian Cook to join our restaurant kitchen team.
A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL ITALIAN COOKING EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.
Job Responsibilities & Required Skills: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working in a professional Italian restaurant kitchen.
Strong knowledge of authentic Italian cuisine and traditional cooking techniques.
Extensive experience preparing fresh pasta, homemade sauces, risotto, pizza, seafood, meat dishes, soups, salads, and appetizers.
Ability to independently handle all kitchen stations, including grill, sauté, pasta, fryer, and food preparation.
Excellent knife skills, food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistent food quality, and ensure proper portion control.
Experience with food inventory, stock rotation, ordering, and minimizing food waste.
Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, cleaning, and proper food storage.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy restaurant environment.
Must maintain a clean, organized,



and properly stocked kitchen.
Must be reliable, punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Certifications & Qualifications: Valid Ontario-recognized Food Handler Certificate – REQUIRED.
Minimum 5 years of professional Italian cooking experience – REQUIRED.
Culinary Arts Diploma or equivalent culinary training—Preferred.
Red Seal Cook Certification—An asset.
WHMIS training—An asset.
Solid knowledge of Ontario food safety and health regulations.
