About the RoleWe're looking for a Founding Social Media & Growth Lead to take ownership of Mentara's organic growth across TikTok and Instagram.

This isn't a traditional social media management role where you'll simply schedule posts and write captions.

You'll be responsible for developing creative strategies, producing engaging short-form content, collaborating with creators, and continuously experimenting with new ways to grow our audience and attract users.

You'll work directly with the founder and have significant freedom to shape our content strategy.

We're looking for someone creative, resourceful, independent, and hungry to build something.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy & Growth

- Own and execute our TikTok and Instagram content strategy.
- Research viral trends, competitors, and successful content formats.
- Develop original video concepts, compelling hooks, and engaging scripts.
- Manage a consistent content calendar and publishing schedule.
- Build systems to scale content production toward 1–2 posts daily.

Creator & Influencer Collaborations

- Communicate with existing creator partners and identify new collaboration opportunities.
- Pitch content ideas, coordinate filming sessions, and manage deliverables.
- Help conduct creator interviews, product demonstrations, and reaction-style videos.




- Build relationships with creators across various niches and industries.

AI-Powered Content Creation

- Leverage ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI tools to accelerate brainstorming, research, scripting, and production.
- Create, edit, and coordinate short-form video content.
- Experiment with new storytelling formats and creative approaches.
- Find innovative ways to improve content production efficiency.

Analytics & Optimization

- Track content performance, engagement, reach, and audience growth.
- Measure website traffic and creator acquisition where possible.
- Identify successful formats and continuously improve our creative strategy.
- Provide concise weekly performance reports and actionable recommendations.

Who We're Looking For
- Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and internet culture.
- Excellent creative instincts and an understanding of what makes content engaging.
- Experience creating, editing, or managing short-form content.
- Comfortable communicating directly with creators and coordinating projects.
- Familiarity with AI tools and enthusiasm for using them.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Genuine interest in AI, startups, and the creator economy.

Bonus Points:

- Experience growing a social media account organically.
- Experience working with influencers or content creators.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or conducting interviews.
- Experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro,



or similar editing tools.
- Previous experience working with early-stage startups.
