The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of organization and time management skills. They are a self-starter. An Area Supervisor needs to have great interpersonal skills and be confident in dealings with internal and external customers. The successful Area Supervisor will not be shy in communicating, coaching, and holding their staff accountable. building operators and building tenantsResponding to client needsAccurate assessment and delivery of servicesFollow‐up with managers and set up independent evening quality auditAssist in providing periodic service quotationProficiently clean clients to meet both company and client standardsCoordinate project works through SPSFollow up and correct any deficiencies which may arise through QA or complainManage new account start‐upHealth & SafetyEnsuring the health and safety of workers and clients remains a top priorityEnsure daily field assessments are up to datePerform random documented safety inspections and meetingEnsure all necessary janitor room posters and most current postings are visibleCertify that equipment is safe to use and in good working conditionEnsure all chemicals are properly labeled with the correct content insideWCB and Modified WorkEnsure WCB and incident reports are submitted to People and Culture immediatelyLiaison with People & Culture and staff on any modified work dutiesLooking after all financial aspects of the contractsLabour costs through timekeeping in eHubAssess and provide training for efficienciesSupply and inventory controlMonitor and adjust labour on vacancyMonitor work tickets to ensure all costings are in before approvalManaging staffAssist managers in hiring key staffDeploy and train staff on the use of the latest cleaning technology while providing instructions and supervision where necessaryUpdate staff on new technology, chemicals, processes and materialsEnsure employees are properly trained and equipped to perform their roleSupport in maintaining a highly trained and motivated staff that constantly strives for excellence in cleanliness and serviceSupervise all employee work on assigned sites to make sure it meets the company and client standardsMake sure all employees follow company standards by constantly coaching and redirecting performanceProduct and revise task sheet as necessaryExperience:Supervising: 1 year (preferred)Licence/Certification:Driving Licence (preferred)Work Location: In person
