Take charge as the Accounting Manager overseeing two manufacturing entities. This position focuses on financial reporting, tax compliance, and daily accounting operations for both companies.

The successful candidate will manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end closes and financial statement preparation. You will oversee accounting staff, manage accounts payable and receivable, and facilitate the transition of accounting operations in-house from an external firm. Ensuring regulatory compliance is also crucial in this role, as well as providing budget forecasting and job-level costing analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage monthly and annual financial close processes
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable for both businesses




• Prepare HST returns and handle CRA correspondence
• Create cash flow forecasts for each entity
• Transition accounting from external to in-house operations

Requirements:
• At least five years of progressive accounting experience
• Demonstrated ownership of the full accounting cycle
• Knowledge of Canadian tax compliance regulations
• Experience with Sage Intacct and advanced Excel skills
• Supervisory experience across shared departments
