Location: Hybrid - Downtown Toronto - 3 days a week

The position offers direct impact on high-scale consumer-facing applications and services within an AI-driven platform transformation.

Must Haves

- 5+ years of backend development using Java
- Experience building and operating large-scale consumer-facing web applications and services
- Proficiency in server-side technologies, cloud technologies, web development, and the desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team operating in a DevOps model.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

Nice to Have

- Experience with Kotlin
- Expertise in service design, discovery, and runtime orchestration systems
- Experience building and operating high traffic services and APIs

Responsibilities

- Drive large-scale projects from inception to production
- Interface directly with stakeholders to support delivery
- Mentor team members and support team growth
- Operate in a fast-moving environment to deliver outcomes
- Investigate critical issues and apply learnings to the product and team
- Build web applications, services, and APIs for AI-native experiences
