As the Software Produce r for the Platform Team , you oversee Beatport’s core engine and shared services that power the entire Beatport product suite such as our Identity, Ingestion, Catalog, and Library services. These services range from authenticating our users, to the supply chain that processes and distributes every track and release onto our platform and partners. This is a remote role but we are looking for someone to be based in the Pacific North West (Washington / British Columbia / Oregon) so applicants must have the right to work in Canada or USA without restriction.

As the Software Producer for the Platform Team you are accountable for: Own our in-house Identity Service which leverages OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) flows to ensure secure user authentication and authorization across all Beatport properties. Oversee the system that receives, analyzes, and transforms content (tracks/releases) from global suppliers and ensures that their metadata and audio files are accurately processed and stored in our databases, making them ready for our downstream APIs to consume. Own our Catalog and Library Service which is the API responsible for discovering, organizing, and delivering content across all the Beatport suite products.

You are responsible for ensuring that the migration of core data (Ingestion) and access (Identity) results in zero downtime. As the Software Producer for the Platform Team you will need: ~3+ years as a Software Producer (or similar role) managing complex backend systems and technical projects. ~ Experience in Scrum ceremonies, including story writing,



kanban, sprint planning, and coordinating multiple developer teams. ~ Ability to query databases independently to validate schemas, understand the data, and troubleshoot data integrity issues. ~ Ability to discuss, understand, and transform complex backend workflows to stories with developers and translate that into communication to non-technical stakeholders.
