We are seeking a reliable and energetic Van Driver to assist with small moves, both short and long distances. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and belongings, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining a positive experience for clients. Responsibilities
Safely operate a van to perform small moves across local or extended distances
Load and unload items carefully, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
Communicate clearly with clients and team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules
Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secured during transit
Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation
Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage logs, and any incidents or delays
Skills
Experience in moving or logistics operations preferred
Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or appropriate driving certification required
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
Warehouse experience is a plus for understanding loading/unloading procedures
Knowledge of forklift operation is beneficial but not mandatory
Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients
