Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tandoor/Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in supporting food preparation, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and experience in food handling, meal preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting.

Duties
Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards
Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during meal preparation
Serve dishes efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas
Support kitchen staff with meal assembly, portioning, and plating
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers following safety protocols




Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of shortages

Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen workplace preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately
Strong understanding of cooking techniques and food presentation
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers or staff
Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
Food industry or restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level applicants

Pay: From $17.95 per hour
