The UGDSB is seeking a dedicated individual for an immediate long-term occasional assignment in guidance for two sections. This position aims to provide high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher while promoting career education to students.
Ideal candidates will possess a Guidance & Career Education Part 1 certification and contribute effectively to our vibrant educational community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver quality guidance education for two sections
Support student achievement in line with Ministry standards
Collaborate with educators across continuing education sites
Utilize diverse teaching methods for student engagement
Create an inclusive learning workplace for all students
Requirements:
Guidance & Career Education Pt 1 certification
Background in cooperative education is an asset
Experience supporting diverse student needs
Transparent Vulnerable Sector Check required
