You will manage landfill operations, ensure compliance, and coordinate field support across the region. This temporary coordinator position requires solid technical expertise in solid waste management. You will support regional waste facilities, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with environmental regulations.

Your role includes liaising with service providers and supporting the Heavy Equipment Operators for secure operational practices. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain regional solid waste facilities
Support compliance with environmental regulations
Monitor compost production controls for quality
Coordinate staff safety talks and meetings
Provide operational information for budget development Requirements:
Five years of solid waste industry experience
Post-secondary education in a related field
Knowledge of safety methods in waste management
BC Qualified Landfill Operators course completion
