We are seeking a motivated and dependable Snow Plow Operator to keep our residential driveways. This position cones with a stand by (bonus) pay plus hourly. In this vital role, you will operate snow plows and salt, to clear snow and ice from driveways. Your proactive approach will ensure protected passage. Responsibilities
Operate snow plows, and safely and efficiently to remove snow and ice from designated areas
Monitor weather conditions continuously to determine the need for snow removal activities
Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after shifts, performing basic automotive repairs or notifying maintenance teams as needed
Coordinate with dispatch or supervisors to prioritize routes and ensure timely snow removal across multiple sites
Maintain detailed logs of work performed, including areas cleared, materials used, and equipment maintenance records
Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents or injuries during snow removal operations
Assist with other winter-related tasks such as shoveling walkways or applying de-icing materials when required
Requirements
Valid G driver’s license mandatory; experience in Residental driving is highly valued
Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as snow plows
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on heavy equipment
Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws related to commercial vehicles
Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods and perform manual tasks in cold weather conditions
Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times
Prior experience with freight handling or logistics operations is a plus
