Fresh Produce Sales Specialist – Chinese Market

Creative Impex Ltd imports and distributes fresh fruits and vegetables across Canada. We are seeking an experienced Chinese-speaking sales qualified to grow our customer base, build strong business relationships, and drive daily fresh-produce sales.

Key Responsibilities
Develop sales with Chinese-speaking wholesalers, grocery stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and other produce buyers.
Build relationships with new customers and maintain existing accounts.
Promote daily inventory, share pricing and availability, secure orders, and follow up with customers.
Understand customer needs and recommend products based on quality, seasonality, availability, and price.
Communicate with Chinese suppliers and support coordination on product specifications, packing, quality, and availability.
Work closely with our purchasing, warehouse, and delivery teams to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
Monitor market demand, competitor pricing, and sales opportunities.
Maintain accurate customer records and work toward agreed sales targets.

Qualifications




Solid Chinese-language communication skills for business conversations with suppliers and customers. Please specify the languages or dialects you speak, such as Mandarin or Cantonese.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with our team and customers.
Previous experience in fresh-fruit and vegetable sales, produce wholesale, or produce distribution.
Knowledge of Chinese suppliers and the Chinese-speaking customer market; an established industry network is a strong advantage.
Understanding of perishable products, daily stock movement, quality standards, and the importance of timely sales.
Robust negotiation, customer-service, and relationship-building skills.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced produce business.
