Alberta Health Services is seeking Environmental Services staff for casual/relief positions at the Fort MacLeod Health Centre. In this critical role, you will employ infection prevention methods while performing cleaning duties across clinical and non-clinical areas. Essential skills include the operation of industrial cleaning equipment and replenishing supplies to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning and special cleanings in facilities
• Disinfect operating rooms and ensure sanitary conditions




• Operate cleaning equipment and restock supplies
• Identify hazards and report to your Working Leader
• Train recent Environmental or Laundry staff as needed

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and push/pull 50 lbs
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Willingness to wear PPE and perform physical tasks
