Empower individuals with disabilities as a Full-time Direct Support Worker at Aldaview Services in New Hamburg, ON. This role focuses on promoting independence and well-being of clients through supportive actions.

As a Direct Support Worker, you will provide person-centered assistance under the guidance of the Primary Direct Support on shift. Your responsibilities will include aiding clients in community participation and personal growth, along with fostering their emotional and physical wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support adults with intellectual disabilities in daily activities
• Assist clients in community engagement and social growth
• Advocate for clients’ needs and preferences




• Facilitate wellness and recreational opportunities
• Collaborate with the Program Manager for care plans

Requirements:
• Relevant degree/diploma in social services or equivalent experience
• CPR, Emergency First Aid, NVCI certification
• Valid G license required
• Experience with Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health & Addictions preferred
• Solid verbal communication and problem-solving skills
