South Muskoka Memorial Hospital seeks two Full-Time Hospitalists to support the launch of a new acute care line by April 1, 2025. This position involves a week-long block from Monday 0800 to the next Monday 0800, managing an average of 18-22 patients daily. You'll receive shared coverage with another Hospitalist while enjoying local physician support and access to various specialty consults.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage daily patient census of 18-22 individuals
• Provide shared coverage of hospital in-patients
• Collaborate with local physicians familiar with EMR




• Participate in evening call coverage for OR Assist
• Access on-site diagnostic and therapeutic services

Requirements:
• Full-Time commitment of a minimum 24 weeks annually
• Willingness to cover evening and patient responsibilities
• Interest in community-based healthcare
• Team-oriented approach to patient care
• Adaptability to dynamic medical environments
