Join Lakeridge Health as a regular part time Oncology Pharmacist, supporting medication needs for oncology patients. Contribute to systemic therapy distribution and provide essential drug information.
Located in Oshawa, this role reports to the DRCC Pharmacy Manager. You will work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Your strong drug counseling, assessment skills, and knowledge of oncology medications will create impactful patient support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Meet medication needs of oncology patients
• Dispense retail prescriptions and oncology trial medications
• Provide drug information and education to patients
• Maintain accurate medication records and profiles
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy; registered in Ontario
• Preferred experience in oncology and retail pharmacy
• Strong clinical assessment and counseling skills
• Knowledge of Meditech, Kroll, Microsoft Office
