Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to prepare meals efficiently
Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to hygiene standards
Serve food to customers or guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations
Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of low stock levels
Follow all safety protocols related to food preparation, cooking, and serving to prevent accidents or contamination
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry is advantageous
Experience in meal preparation, cooking, or working as a kitchen helper will help you succeed in this role
Knowledge of serving techniques and customer service skills are beneficial for delivering excellent guest experiences
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
