Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support medication administration following proper protocols and documentation procedures
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
Help clients engage in recreational activities and social outings to encourage active living
Document care provided accurately in client records and communicate updates to team members effectively
Requirements
Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
Robust caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation tasks efficiently
Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) or equivalent credential is an asset
Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed
