Spillett Security Group Inc. is hiring reliable, professional Full-Time Security Guards to provide overnight hotel and property security services in the Canmore, Alberta area.

Schedule
Overnight shifts: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Full time: Five days on, two days off

Responsibilities
Conduct foot and mobile patrols of hotels, staff accommodations, and residential properties
Respond professionally to disturbances, complaints, and security-related incidents
Assist with emergency situations, including fire and medical incidents
Complete accurate and detailed incident reports
Monitor security desks and assist hotel guests and staff as required
Maintain a skilled and approachable presence while ensuring the safety and security of properties

Requirements
Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence
Valid First Aid certification
Valid driver's licence




Minimum three years of continuous, verifiable automobile insurance history (required for company vehicle insurance)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
Solid written and verbal English communication skills
Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills
Reliable, responsible, and comfortable working overnight shifts

Assets
Previous hospitality or customer service experience
Education in Police Sciences, Criminology, or a related field
Previous security experience

Training On-the-job training will be provided to successful candidates.

Please note: Staff housing is NOT available for this position. Applicants must have their own accommodation in the area.

Pay: $19.90-$21.91 per hour
