and serve as the Secretary Treasurer's official designate in their absence.This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced workplace and wants to make a lasting impact in public education administration.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership & Accounting OperationsDirect day-to-day financial and accounting operations to ensure absolute accuracy, transparency, and integrity in division reporting.Maintain and optimize educational ERP systems (Atrieve), budgeting tools, and fee collection platforms.Manage the division's chart of accounts and oversee capital asset valuation and reconciliations under Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS).Supervise and mentor finance department personnel, including accounting and payroll teams.Budgeting & Strategic ReportingLead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.Assist in developing and prepare operating budgets, year-end audited statements, and Government Reporting Entity (GRE) submissions for Alberta Education.Monitor cash flow, short-term investments, and complete statutory filings (GST rebates and Charity return).Prepare
