Maro's Bistro is looking for a welcoming, energetic, and composed Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a rapid-paced environment, and is eager to learn the flow of a busy restaurant.
You will help set the tone for the guest experience by balancing warmth, organization, and efficiency even during high-volume service.
Responsibilities
Greet guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow
Communicate clearly with servers and management
Maintain a calm and positive attitude during busy periods
Support the front-of-house team as needed
Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests
Qualifications
Minimum hosting or customer service experience preferred
Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication and people skills
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and grow in hospitality
