Housing and Health Society is seeking a dedicated Janitor and Maintenance Worker. This position involves janitorial duties and maintenance of the facility, including plumbing and electrical upkeep. You will also support recent staff and maintain a safe workplace in accordance with health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Perform sweeping, washing, and waxing of floors
Handle garbage disposal and manage recycling containers
Monitor and maintain all building equipment
Conduct repairs, including plumbing and landscaping tasks
Assist staff and oversee volunteers to meet facility needs Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 with two years of relevant experience
Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification
