Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Cook a variety of menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients
Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts
Support the team during busy service times by providing timely and accurate food service
Adhere to all health regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a protected dining workplace
Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
Solid understanding of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
