Lead operational efficiency at PHO's Orillia Laboratory as an Assistant Manager. Oversee staffing, workflow, and ensure quality standards to support public health initiatives. This full-time role requires collaboration with the department Manager and team leads.

You will mentor staff, manage laboratory operations, and ensure compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) standards. Your goal is to enhance laboratory services while achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in a energetic health setting. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare staffing schedules and assign workstations
Monitor throughput and performance against KPIs
Ensure compliance with lab QA standards
Address production issues in real time
Contribute to strategic planning and implementation Requirements:
Degree in science or laboratory discipline
Minimum four years of lab experience
Two years supervisory experience required
Familiarity with microbiology or laboratory operations
