Become a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I with Metro Vancouver's Liquid Waste Services team in Richmond. In this full time role, you'll monitor and maintain crucial wastewater operations to ensure environmental compliance. We are looking for two operators at the Iona Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Your responsibilities will include operating equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, collecting samples, and assisting with routine testing. You will also help maintain records while ensuring safety standards within the facility. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment
Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, and valves
Conduct process sampling and laboratory tests
Maintain accurate operating records and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations Requirements:
Grade 12 education or equivalent
EOCP Class I MWWT Operators Certification
Ability to obtain a Boiler Operator certification
Effective verbal and written communication skills
