Make a difference in a child's life as an in-home Literacy Tutor in the Tri-Cities area. Ideal candidates will have Orton-Gillingham certification and experience working with students experiencing literacy challenges. We are seeking a compassionate tutor for one-on-one sessions with a Grade 1 student diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Applicants should hold Orton-Gillingham training and demonstrate a solid understanding of structured literacy instruction. The focus will be on fostering confidence and academic success through engaging, tailored instruction in a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities:
Assess current literacy skills and create customized learning plans
Utilize Orton-Gillingham methods for reading and spelling instruction




Support phonological awareness and reading comprehension growth
Monitor progress and adapt lessons accordingly
Provide ongoing feedback to parents about student development Requirements:
Orton-Gillingham certification or equivalent training
