As an Adjuster, you will handle complex claims from initial notification to resolution, working closely with Operations, Legal, and Insurers to protect interests while supporting risk management practices. Your role is crucial for developing strategies that minimize costs and contribute to loss prevention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of casualty and commercial claims
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and evaluate claims
• Negotiate settlements within your delegated authority
• Identify opportunities for early resolutions
• Maintain accurate claim documentation throughout the lifecycle
Requirements:
• CIP designation completed or in progress with 5 years experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Innovative and team-oriented mindset in team settings
• Knowledge of risk management practices
• Proficiency in French is an asset
