Board is actively seeking qualified Emergency Occasional Teachers to fill immediate gaps left by absent teachers. Candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor of Education program and have completed at least one successful practicum placement.
Your role will involve stepping in on short notice to ensure continued learning for students in the absence of full time educators. Key Responsibilities:
Fill in for daily teacher absences in Ontario classrooms
Implement lesson plans and support student learning
Maintain classroom management during absences
Communicate effectively with students and staff
Provide feedback on student engagement and participation Requirements:
Registered in a Bachelor of Education program
Completed one successful practicum placement
Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector required
