Role Summary We are seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Electrician or Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Edson, Alberta , working on a variety of industrial construction projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems on industrial sites in and around the Edson area.
Candidates must be willing to travel. Applicants residing within a 100 km radius of Edson are encouraged to apply. Living Out Allowance (LOA) is available for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, protected work environment.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements Valid indentured 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice or Journeyperson Electrician
Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work
Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid,CSO, AWP/EWP, ESTS and CSTS 2020
Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S; requirements




Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment
Valid driver's license
Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage tocommensurate with experience and certification
Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
