Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders at the counter, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with precision and accountability
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety
Experience
Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred, demonstrating familiarity with fast-paced environments
Hands-on experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation standards, and food safety protocols
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management
Experience in cashiering or cash handling roles within the food industry is highly advantageous
Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry operations will support success in this role
