We are a newly established, community-focused family practice looking for a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Clinical Assistant to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient care, teamwork, and supporting physicians and nurse practitioners in a busy but welcoming clinic workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome, check-in, and prepare patients for appointments
Perform vital signs, height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, and urinalysis
Assist with injections (vaccines, B12, medications) within scope and under medical directives
Support ECGs, swabs,



rapid tests, point-of-care testing, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as trained
Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
Support referrals, e-faxing, patient follow-ups, and EMR documentation
Provide front desk support, scheduling, and patient communication
Maintain confidentiality and follow PHIPA and infection prevention standards

Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in family practice, primary care, community clinic, or ambulatory care preferred
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience is an asset
Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner
Professional, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable with technology and EMR systems
CPR Level C/BLS certification (or willingness to update)
Medical Office Administration/Assistant training or relevant healthcare experience preferred
