Enhance resident experiences as a Recreation Aide at Anson Place Care Centre in Hagersville, ON. This role focuses on implementing engaging activities to foster well-being and connection.

As a Recreation Aide, you will report to the Recreation Manager and be dedicated to resident-centered care. Your primary responsibilities include planning programs, evaluating residents' needs, and facilitating meaningful interactions. You will also manage supplies and logistics for recreational activities in alignment with our mission to provide compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning recreation activities tailored to residents’ needs
• Evaluate individualized dementia levels for appropriate programming
• Maintain organized supplies and set up activity areas




• Document resident participation and encouragement to attend
• Support residents in meeting physical and personal care needs

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in Arts or related field
• Strong communication skills in English
• Energetic and imaginative engagement style
• Experience working with seniors preferred
• Explicit vulnerable sector screening and recent health tests
