The Senior Bookkeeper will handle verification, calculation, and processing of complex financial transactions. You will lead monthly peer reviews, maintain client files, and ensure adherence to accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:
• Calculate and process receipts and invoices for diverse clients
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts systematically
• Set up and manage both hard copy and digital client files
• Ensure compliance with established financial standards
• Mentor bookkeeping staff through peer reviews
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Finance or Accounting required
• Minimum five years' experience in full-cycle accounting preferred
• CPB designation or desire to obtain is a plus
• Advanced QuickBooks Certification preferred
• Valid Manitoba Driver’s license for potential travel
