As a Certified Education Assistant, you will work under the guidance of itinerant teachers and District personnel to provide essential care and support for students with special needs.

Provide instructional support for students’ educational programs
Construct and locate effective instructional materials




Use technology for teaching purposes and record-keeping
Supervise completion of activities per Individual Education Plans
Assist students with personal care and safety requirements Requirements:
High School graduation or equivalence
Education Assistant Certificate strongly preferred
Successful completion of CPI and First Aid training
Proven ability to manage challenging situations calmly
