Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met
Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities diligently
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living space
Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety for both parties
Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly
Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred
Solid background in patient care, senior care, dementia care, or working with individuals with disabilities
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
Ability to follow detailed care plans and maintain accurate documentation
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are a plus for travel between client homes
